Hello! I'm a UCSB alumni who majored in Biochemistry in the chemistry department (although I can tutor for Sears Biochemistry!), and is currently working as a research technician there. I've completed the full chemstiry series, including general, organic, biophysical, analytical, and quantum chemistry classes, as well as the the biochemistry series and associated lab classes. Through those classes I have learned what I consider are the best ways to study difficult material; ways that are both more time efficient and effective than rote memorisation. I like to focus my students on building an understanding of the material and teach them how to apply that understanding effectively to solve almost any problem.
